New Spring Feature!

Our new shop at Peak Village is not the only new addition to the dales….introducing our new fabulous gardening aids. With Summer right around the corner, now is the perfect time to get your garden in shape so you can relax and enjoy the sun!

The attractive range includes the new ergonomic hand tools, specially shaped with comfy grip handles, they are strong yet light. They are designed to give more leverage with less wrist stress, allowing you to do the weeding with less effort.

These fantastic hand tools include – ergonomic trowel, trans planter, weeder and cultivator and can be bought separately or as part of a set.

Also for the budding gardener is the new Pro Light range, which compromises of fork, spade and grabber. Both the fork and spade are made from Pro Light carbon steel making them light and easy to carry, because the dirt you are digging is heavy enough!

The spade has a heat tempered carbon steel blade increasing it’s toughness making it easier to use on hard surfaces. The digging fork has square shard ‘English-Style’ tines making it ideal for turning and cultivating soil. They are both equipped with the new ergonomic ‘O Grip’ handle which again is designed to reduce the strain on the user and gives more leverage.

To accompany this range is the Garden Grabber, cleverly designed with its telescopic handles, it is the ultimate back saving clean up tool lifting almost anything without bending or straining.

To complete the set there is the folding kneeler and bench. A sturdy multi use garden aid which can be a portable seat or a padded kneeler, giving greatly improved comfort when working in the garden and when not in use it neatly folds away for storage.

All these products are available now in our Peak Village Store at Rowsley near Matlock.

They are great if you want to spruce up your own gardening tools and will also make ideal gifts for those other keen gardeners!

Make your dad the envy of his neighbours this fathers day with these amazing gardening aids.

Stair lift Success

Part of Clark & Partners amazing service, we aim to help our customers as quickly and efficiently as possible and in many cases the requirement for a stair lift can come out of the blue.

Just as it did last week with Mr Clark, no, he’s not related!

Mr Clark bought his first stair lift from us in 1990, although it had been well maintained by us, at 22 years old it needed replacing. He called our Sheffield head office, he was so pleased with the service he had received many years ago, and having had such a reliable product, he wanted to use Clark & Partners again.

It was arranged for Michael, one of our friendly access team advisors, to visit Mr Clark and discuss his requirements and check the measurements, as things may have changed over 20 years.

Michael advised the options available, the different types of stair lift and seat colours.

Mr Clark decided to go ahead and replace his old Stannah with a new one and wanted it doing as soon as possible. Within no time our in house team of specialised engineers arrived and removed the old stair lift with minimal disruption to Mr Clark. They returned again the following morning and installed the brand new one.

After taking away the packaging, cleaning up after themselves and a quick cup of tea the engineers left a very happy Mr Clark to enjoy the use of his new stair lift, with peace of mind it would last another 20 years.

Fantastic Weekend!

A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who visited and supported the opening of our new shop at Peak Village this weekend. It was a huge success !

Our official opening day was Thursday 5th April and we had our opening party Saturday and Easter Sunday.

With the shop decorated in bunting and a bow and balloon for every scooter, it definitely had the wow factor, the only thing missing was the sun. That was ok because we had the Easter bunny on hand with sweets for the children, goodie bags for the adults and prizes draws for all to enter.

Our scooters were on show for all to see which looked great outside the shop, but it was obvious the scooter with all the attention was the fabulous Drive Sport Rider. With it’s retro style and Harley Davison grace it’s no wonder everyone wanted a photo on it.

Inside the shop the Shoe Emporium was definitely a show stopper, a full wall of shoes, every woman’s dream! With the new spring and summer styles available they are hard to resist. Not forgetting the men we also have a great range of mens shoes and slippers to save you extra shopping.

Peak Village is a great shopping centre set in the heart of the dales, surrounded by the great British countryside and is proving to be the ideal set for the new shop. The crowds of people who visited us this weekend were a variety of local people and visitors to the area who welcomed us and were pleased our services are now available here.

If you have not yet visited the Peak Village shop pop along, you’re still in time to enter the prize draws.

Once again thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Stars in Their Eyes!

Clark and Partners are proud to sponsor the local based charity Stars in Our Eyes. And following another very successful charity even the local newspaper printed the following.

The Stars in Our Eyes charity music road show rolled into town with another colourful fund-raising event at the weekend.
Acts include Cher, Lady GaGa, Neil Diamond and Freddie Mercury were all represented at the three-hour tribute show at Pastures Lodge, Mexborough, on Saturday night.
And the even raised more than £1,000.00 for wheelchair bound Chris Hanson, of Spotborough.
Colin Rufus, from the Conisbrough based charity which puts on weekly shows to help raise cash for worthy causes throughout the region, said “It was an absolutely fantastic night – another sell out of Stars In Our Eyes which raised a huge chunk towards Chris’s new wheelchair.”
Stars in Our eyes have raised more than £5000,000 for charity since they were formed nine years ago.
They now have a packed schedule of bookings and are sponsored by Sheffield-based mobility specialists, Clark and Partners, which is helping them to continue their charitable work.
Colin said: “Clark and Partners have been a huge help to us and have ensured that we can go on fundraising.”
He Added: “We’re always well received by audiences but when we’ve had a successful show like the one at Pastures Lodge on Saturday night, it makes all our efforts worthwhile.”

We offer our support to Stars in Our Eyes and our congratulations for their 9 year anniversary next week.
