Spilling the beans on poverty

This weekend Alastair Ronaldson joined a team of volunteers face painting and giving out ‘food box chilli’ at the Woodhouse Carnival.

Despite less than positive weather forecasts the atmosphere wasn’t dampened as kids queued for face painting and parents sampled a special recipe. Jubilee Food Bank provide short-term emergency food supplies to people in financial crisis. To publicise this they handed out chilli made from non-perishable food items that would typically be included in a food box. The Food Bank stall was extremely popular with visitors to the carnival and the team had a lot of fun making it happen.

Alastair will be producing lots of promotional material in the coming months to keep you informed of  fantastic offers and services from Clark and Partners. He is also developing our brand new website and online store, so browsing and ordering products from Clark and Partners will be easier than ever!

Liam Quick

 

Avid guitarist Liam Quick entertained the punters at the Frog & Parrot in Sheffield last Saturday with a set of energetic indie rock.
Liam has been in numerous bands and is now the guitarist for the New Camaros. They are never short of opportunities to perform and will be playing at several venues as part of Sheffield’s famous Tramlines Festival in July.

Liam Quick is one of our engineers at Clark and Partners and promises to keep the noise down when servicing your Stairlift or Hoist!

Celebrate in style!

There was lots of people having fun at our Peak Village Store last weekend as it was surrounded by lively Jubilee celebrations. With face painting, Jubilee themed craft activities and live music it was a great place to be on a bank holiday. How did you celebrate the Jubilee over the weekend? 

Clark and Partners are celebrating our national pride with this Union Jack Rollator on sales at the Peak Village store.

The location of our store in Rowsley, Matlock makes it a great destination for a visit on any day as there is always lots to see and do.

Running against the odds

Warren at Sheffield Marathon 2012 - Clark and Partners Ltd

Clark and Partners is very proud to congratulate Warren Keeton for overcoming difficult conditions and completing the Sheffield Half Marathon last Sunday.

Whilst most of us were struggling to even sit outside in the sweltering heat, Warren pushed through temperatures of up to 27º to complete the 13.2 miles in 2 hours and 8 minutes.

This race held particular significance for Warren as his father, who was also his running partner the previous year, died in an accident just 3 months earlier. Warren sprinted over the finish line in Don Valley Stadium carrying his Dad’s trainers in memory of him.

Well done Warren from all the team at Clark and Partners for this fantastic achievement!
