A note from Terence Clark on his most recent activities outside of work.

I ran the Amsterdam Marathon on 18th October 2009. this is a course of just over 26 miles which meanders through the city of Amsterdam and along canals and through parks.
I ran to raise money for relief work in the county of Zambia which is officially one of the worlds poorest countries, since the 70’s it has been in an increasingly poverty stricken state, with a growing population and the wide scale spread of HIV and Aids among those of working age.
I am involved with an orphanage in Zambia where in 2006 I went with a team to work to build additional living quarters. There is a mountain of work to do and myself and the team that went out along with a few others have committed to continue what we started and are now embarking on something a little more ambitious, this is in the form of a community feeding, learning, resource centre. It will have a multi function as almost every building out there has to, the costs will be in the region of 30 to 40k.
Last year I ran the Berlin Marathon and raised in the region of 2k this year I hope to match this.
