Does the stairlift fit to the wall?

No it fits to the treads of your stairs which is why it’s important to have a free survey before buying your lift so our experts can foresee any adaptations that might be needed.

Can my family use the stairs if I have a stairlift fitted?

Yes definitely, the seat and footplate can fold out of the way manually or electrically to suit you.

I live in a terrace house, does this mean I can’t have a stairlift?

No not at all, certainly some amendments could be needed but we can take care of it all. We have a team of builders that can sort any extra work prior to installation, such as moving radiators or doors to avoid obstructions.

What happens if I get a power cut – will I get stuck?

Do I have to maintain my stairlift?
