STRAIGHT OR CURVED?

Many people get confused if their stairs are straight or curved. Straight stairlifts fit to stairs that go from the downstairs to the upstairs without interruption,
the track is one piece, solid and straight.

Curved or round-the-corner stairlifts do not only fit spiral staircases, as is often the misconception. If your staircase has any landing, fan step or turn in it, then it is likely a curved lift is the better choice.

Curved lifts cost a little more due to the extra work involved in manufacturing and fitting, they are more tailor-made than straight stairlifts, although straight stairlifts are cut specifically to fit your staircase.

WHICH STAIRLIFT

There are many stairlift manufacturers, sometimes features on one product win over another, although one product may fit your particular staircase neater than another. By purchasing through ourselves you have full access to whatever is right for you.
